My Stable Life is now a Public Charity
We are proud to share a major milestone in the journey of My Stable Life: the organization has officially been granted 501(c)(3) status, affirming My Stable Life’s mission and allowing us to move forward with greater financial strength and accountability.
Building What’s Needed—Now
As we look ahead, the urgency of this work has never been clearer. My Stable Life is building a formal, practical, and replicable model for mental health recovery—one that supports individuals and families from crisis through recovery and toward stable, meaningful lives. Our approach integrates peer-led support, community-based programming, and long-term pathways to stability.
Recent conversations with clinicians, caregivers, and community leaders reinforce a troubling reality: too many people remain locked in systems that offer containment rather than hope. The most heartbreaking truth is that much of this suffering is unnecessary. With the right support, recovery is possible.
Momentum and Next Steps
With 501(c)(3) status secured, My Stable Life is moving forward with key initiatives, including:
Following up with potential grants and angel investors
Completing the exam for Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist certification
Applying for Medi-cal specializations in Family Peer Support and Unhoused
Strengthening partnerships with mission-aligned organizations
These steps bring us closer to launching the first My Stable Life recovery community, designed to demonstrate what compassionate, peer-led recovery can achieve.
